He has been advising and managing high-value real estate portfolios for some of India’s most prominent family offices and business promoters. His deep understanding of regional markets across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Goa, and Rajasthan — along with strong experience working with NRI clients — makes him a trusted name in the premium real estate space.
Since 2019, Rakesh has been associated with India Sotheby’s International Realty, where he blends strategic insight with a hands-on approach to client engagement. Prior to this he spent over 16 years in Treasury Sales and Business Development with top-tier banks including Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI Bank, and ING Vysya. He held national leadership roles such as North Head – Wholesale Bank Corporates and National Head – Mid-Market Corporates at Kotak, with a specialization in commodities, currencies, and derivatives.
Rakesh is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), where he has also been invited to lecture on financial markets.
